Parker Hale was founded in 1890 in Birmingham, England, by Alfred Gray Parker. In the 19th and early 20th centuries, Birmingham was a hub for British precision manufacturing and arms production, and Parker Hale was part of this environment. The company produced hunting rifles built on commercial Mauser 98 actions and was for decades recognized for its good quality-to-price ratio. Parker Hale exported to Scandinavia and other European markets and is not an unfamiliar name among older hunters in the region. Production of rifles ceased in the early 2000s, but examples are still in active use by shooters and hunters who appreciate classic British craftsmanship.

The Parker Hale Midland is built on an action design that differs from the 1200 series. Check that your rifle is a Midland model, and confirm hole spacing and mounting geometry with the A/B/C control measurements.
Older British hunting rifles may have had other bases mounted, and the mounting surface may show traces or machining from previous mounting hardware. Inspect the mounting surface thoroughly. If there is damage in the mounting zones, a gunsmith can assess the fit.
Material and access to modern accessories
Parker Hale is a brand that is no longer produced. Model-specific accessories are rare.
